Volunteers Angeni and Khyanne on a visit to Ed this summer
Fall Semester is Underway!

Graduate Assistant

We are thrilled to introduce Emily Clouser, Lori's Hands' Graduate Assistant for the 2017-2018 academic year. Emily is a first year student in the Speech Language Pathology program. She graduated from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's in Cognitive Science. Emily brings with her a background of working and volunteering with individuals of all ages, from infancy through older adulthood. Emily will be assisting Lori's Hands with a couple of special projects, including ongoing survey collection to evaluate the impact of LH services.

With your support, more clients receive assistance

Thanks to the donations of our generous community, Lori's Hands is enrolling new clients as we aim to continue to expand our services! We're on track to serve over 60 clients this Fall! That means that more than 100 students will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful community health service learning. Thank you for your support in helping us reach this milestone!
Sunny Day Fund
The Sunny Day Fund provides direct support to clients who are in need of a special service over and above our traditional volunteer assistance. This summer, with your support of the Sunny Day Fund, Lori's Hands was able to assist a client couple in hiring an electrician to restore electricity to half of their home. They had been navigating an unsafe maze of extension cords and dimly lit rooms for several months. But now, thanks to Lori's Hands' Sunny Day Fund, the couple has complete electricity all throughout their home. Thank you!
